REV. DAVID VAN LANT Pastor of English Ministry
During the course of his college and seminary education, Pastor Van Lant served as a youth pastor at Bethel Reformed Church in Bellflower, California. He then served as an associate pastor at BRC for one and one half years. He then became BRC’s Sr. Pastor and served as Sr. Pastor for 10 years. Most recently he has accepted a call to become the Pastor of English Ministries for St. Paul Evangelical Community Church. Pastor Van Lant has been married to Sandra Van Lant since October 1, 1976. They have three children—two daughters and one son. Their oldest daughter, Leah (25), is married and live in the Salt Lake City area. Their second daughter, Sarah (24), is currently living in Torrance, California. Their Son, Dylan, (16), lives with them in Norwalk, California, and attends Mayfair High School in Lakewood, California.

Pastor
David Van Lant was born on December 29, 1953. He has been a resident
of Southern California for 35 years. He attended California State
University at Long Beach were he majored in both Philosophy and
Psychology. He graduated from CSULB in with honors in May of 1983
with a BA in Philosophy. He attended Fuller Theological Seminary
from 1983 to 1987. He graduated from Fuller Seminary with a Master
of Divinity degree in May of 1987.
